Did you know this post was part of a series? Check out all of my WFH recaps here!
This week I’ve been hard at work with my more creative endeavours. Either that or I’ve been working hard to save Princess Zelda. In any case, I wanted to share with you all some exciting things that are coming up. And I’m wondering: Since they’re all creative in nature, does that make me an artist? Like, is that a title I can officially claim now? Please let me know.
The Corona Chronicles
If you remember my post from a few weeks ago, I created a zine on self-compassion. I’m super proud of it, especially because of the zine’s origin story. A friend and colleague and I walked into a local bookstore (doesn’t that sound like the setup to a really horrible joke?). There we saw several items created by local artists including several zines. I bought one and on the drive home I declared that I too should create a zine. And that’s it really. The self-compassion zine was done within two days. Now, after mulling over some ideas for the next one for a few months, I’ve finally settled on The Corona Chronicles. This zine will feature illustrations that depict my life since Covid-19. It’s lighthearted and funny and will hopefully resonate with you! Here’s a little sneak peak:
Surviving & Thriving Ep. 4
Just like Codie and I said during our last episode, even coronavirus can’t keep us from recording our podcast. This time, we update you on how we’re doing going into week 7 of social distancing. And more importantly, we share with you how to stay virtually connected! Of course we stay on brand with several rants and tangents and the occasional F-bomb (or 5).

Yes this most definitely makes you an artist!
