And then the lack of motivation turned into fear – because after several months, I felt it had been too long to come back. Who would still care to read what I had to write? I was and still am afraid of being rejected. So I did what a lot of students I meet with do: I froze.
It’s definitely been a while since I’ve created one but 2020 really got me in the mood to look only forward and I figured that a vision board was a great way to start off the new year. In this post, I’ll walk you through my process in the hopes of inspiring your own vision board for 2021.
Something or someone external? A physical obstacle? You? Your mindset? Answer honestly. For me, it’s expectations. Expectations bred from the over-consumption of television and YA novels. Expectations put in place by society and groupthink. Expectations imagined by my own naive mind.
